Traditional direct distribution channel
What is the traditional direct distribution channel?
A form of distribution from manufacturer to consumer without any intermediary channel. This direct distribution model can be seen in households with small-scale household businesses (bakery, food and beverage,…) or some goods industries such as fashion and interior. Large businesses besides intermediate distribution channels also often build their own store systems, such as S-Supply Chain, an ecosystem chain.
The direct distribution channel is not only a sales task but also a part of a brand strategy, helping to build images in customers' minds (especially showrooms and flagship stores)
