Affiliate Marketing Channel
These are distribution channels through at least one intermediary party including wholesalers, retailers, depositors, etc. Examples of indirect distribution channels include local grocery stores, retail supermarkets (Lotte Mart, BigC, VinMart, Co.op Mart, etc.), convenience store chains (Circle K, 7-11, GS25, Family Mart...), retail collaborators, wholesale dealers, etc.
The indirect distribution channel consists of 3 levels
Level 1: Manufacturer – Retailer – Consume
Level 2: Manufacturer – Wholeseller – Retailer – Consumer
Level 3: Manufacturer – Broker – Wholeseller – Retailer – Consumer
Most enterprises use indirect distribution channels, as self-operation and development of direct sales systems are more costly than distribution through pre-market retailers, which have a stable point-of-sale system and customer traffic. Even with large enterprises building their own chains, indirect distribution channels have an irreplaceable role in distribution channel management strategies.
